Founded by AEI scholar Ian Rowe, the FREE Initiative champions the vital roles of family, religion, education, and entrepreneurship in equipping the rising generation of young Americans. FREE’s mission is to help young people recognize and exercise their personal agency through these four institutions. Key priorities include building a network of leaders committed to fostering agency in their communities, launching a high school curriculum focused on youth agency, and expanding partnerships through outreach and events.
The intern will support FREE’s mission of equipping students with agency and receive mentorship from the FREE team. Responsibilities include providing research and administrative support, creating promotional content, and partnering with the FREE team on short- and long-term projects. Projects may involve planning and executing events, maintaining product and contact records, and assisting with new outreach strategies.
Strong candidates are eager to learn, responsive to feedback, and passionate about helping students lead lives of success through personal agency. We seek entrepreneurial, driven, self-directed individuals with excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is a plus.
The FREE intern must be available to complete the internship in person.
