Bestselling author and columnist Jonah Goldberg writes on US politics and culture as a fellow at AEI. One of the most prominent conservative political commentators today, Goldberg frequently appears on television and radio, and his syndicated columns are circulated widely across the country. Interns will conduct research on a large range of policy-related topics to assist Goldberg with his columns, lectures, and media appearances. The ability to assist with the production of his podcast, “The Remnant with Jonah Goldberg,” is also of great benefit. The ideal candidate will either possess strong research, editing, and writing skills or will show a willingness to learn them, as well as a demonstrated interest in US politics, culture, and the media.
Fall 2020 Intern Scholarship
In the fall of 2020, AEI will offer up to six intern candidates a $1,000 monthly living stipend as part of a need-based scholarship program. Our hope is to allow students who would not be able to do so without financial assistance to reap the academic, professional, and personal benefits of interning at AEI. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until Friday, July 24. To apply for the scholarship, please click here.
